Our Asian Eggplant, beans,
shiso,
shitake mushrooms, squid and shrimp ready for fried
tempuraMy wife decided to gather some cilantro, carrots, zucchini, chives and shrimp to make a sort of Asian pancake. I'm so jealous!!
In the skillet.......
and finally served with cold noodles and some homemade sauce. What a great feeling it must be to cook from the backyard to the kitchen......

I want to eat at that restaurant! And wow, look at that eggplant... I'm still harvesting baby arugula--my beans aren't even quite ready (but they're getting there).
Maybe I should move to the South, just so I can garden! I hear real estate in North Carolina is pretty affordable.
That is completely drool worthy! I'm going to hope you're posting the recipe and how-to on her recipe blog! Yes?
Totally delish looking.
My eggplants haven't even had their first full bloom open yet. You're way ahead of me there.
Kenneth- If only we had a restaurant but then it wouldn't be fun it would actually be like work. And yes North Cackalacka has some really good deals and there is always the OBX factor thats to die for.
Christy- when I get back we will gather a lot of cool, different stuff and post the recipes. It's funny because she and I will make something and say "Hey I didn't know you knew how to make that; Why the hell are you holding back;) But from what I hear the eggplant were to die for.
Oooooooh! I want a garden NOW - and your recipes!
Lucky! I never have success with my squid or shrimp seeds.
