Yesterday before heading to destin I had to try making my first of many fire pit breakfast. It was great!! The exciting thing was going to the chicken coop and pushing Esther to the side and picking two warm eggs from the nest. The fire pit design is made so that there is a small cooking section for pretty much anything. It will be nice to make an official vegetable omelet when the garden gets into full production. I'm greatful that where I live they allow fire pits in the backyard. My wife is still not amused but it's my official man cave almost literally.

That's so cool! There is nothing better than coffee and fresh eggs (cooked on your own fire pit, no less). Also, I'm really enjoying your blog soundtrack. I keep it open just so I can hear the songs! Jess
Jess- Thats awesome you dig the soundtrack. I like a lot of different music, not your usual type from somebody raised in and around NYC. And the Firepit is quickly becoming my pride and joy. Im so proud of that thing. I almost can't wait until the cities power goes out for a couple of days and my wife wants a hot meal. As they say in the south 'I'll learn er." :)
Boy, I've missed my last few weeks of reading your posts. You always have the neatest things going on.
Eggs over the fire.......sounds nice!
Sue- Thanks.. As I always try to do in my own fashion I am going to try to be as creative as possible. I will attempt to bring Gourmet cooking to the field. (My wifes shaking her head)
I'm hiding this post from my husband - he'll want a fire pit breakfast too!! LOL
Melissa-- It's the only way to do breakfast right:) And my wife has another added benefit. I don't dirty up her kitchen
Firepits are a great way to decorate your outdoor living area in modern style.
